Yuga Labs' Otherside Action Game Series, Project Dragon, Begins on July 27th!

Updated: Jul 22

Get ready for guns, mayhem, and jank because, on July 27th, the Yugaverse will be heading to the streets of Meetropolis for the premiere of Yuga Labs’ Project Dragon game!

This is not an elaborate nut joke! On Thursday, Yuga Labs announced that its highly anticipated Otherside action game, Project Dragon, will debut on Saturday, July 27th, at 12 P.M. EST!

“Project Dragon July 27th, 2024 Noon ET, Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “Meebits, Voyagers, Kodas, BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, Grailed, Moonbirds, Kodamara, & HVs can all attend. More info to come."

"Lots more info to come," Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted after the announcement. "But for now, save the date."

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Project Dragon was first announced during Garga’s Otherside Town Hall meeting on May 3rd.

“Project Dragon launches in July, and it will be a massively multiplayer event with thousands of players competing across Meetropolis” Garga said at the time. “There will be weapons. There will be mayhem. Frankly there will be a lot of jank because nobody has done action gameplay with three thousand plus people like this. It just doesn’t happen.”

Project Dragon's first event next Sunday will mark the beginning of a yearlong, 12-part action game series featuring an overarching storyline written by Yuga Labs co-founders Gordon Goner and Garga.

While we do not know much about the gameplay yet, we do know that Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more will choose their team (orange or aquamarine) and their character’s class (assault, healer, and more), each with different weapons based on their choice.

As we wait for more information on Project Dragon from the Yuga Labs team, we know that Apes and Meebits will be able to play as their PFPs, and the game will be open to Voyagers, Kodas, MAYC, Grailed, Moonbirds, and HV-MTLs holders, who are all invited to ape in and play!

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow all things Project Dragon. Stay tuned for updates!

Oh, I've heard a lot of positive feedback about lore of many games. So you'll have to check it as well. In general, you can really look on the site https://www.dreamandtravel.com/around-the-world-with-counter-strike/ and find many interesting articles there, as well as sites where you can download cool skins. I hope my advice will be useful to you.

It's really great that you can now play a variety of computer games thanks to the Internet. I really like that now you can easily download a variety of games and their versions with modifications. I'm happy to do it now, too.
