YouTuber Mike Majlak Made The Most Expensive Purchase Of His Life Apeing Into The BAYC

Cheetah Gang gained a new member today as notable Youtuber Mike Majlak aped into the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Earlier today, Majlak posted a video to YouTube titled “The Most Expensive Purchase of My Life.” In the video Majlak is joined by BAYC member and CEO of Moonpay Ivan Soto-Wright, and notable BAYC collector J1mmy.Eth as he aped into the club.

“I want to make a splash I want to make some fucking noise,” Majlak said in the video.

Majlak certainly made some noise with his bored ape purchase, spending $700,000 USD via Moonpay for Bored Ape #9049.

Bored Ape #9049 is a six-trait cheetah fur ape with a trippy captain’s hat and a guayabera shirt. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #9049 is the 1111th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“Trippy obviously means something to me,” Majlak said after J1mmy.eth first showed him Bored Ape #9049. “I’ve Definity spent enough time tripping in my fucking life.”

Following Maljak ape-ing into the swamp, he updated his Twitter profile photo to Bored Ape #9049 and Bored Apes welcomed him to the club. “Welcome onbored man, BAYC member DFarmer tweeted. “The crew salutes you!”
