YOU’RE A WIZARD, ANON: Zards NFT Holders Can Now Soft Stake To Earn Magic Points And Boost Their Rarity!

You’re a Wizard, Anon! ApeChain is feeling a lot like Hogwarts this Friday after the Zards NFT project opened its school of wizardry, inviting holders to train their J-Pegs and earn magical points!

Wizards, grab your wands because class is now in session! Zards founder Seb Brook took to the timeline to announce that Zards holders can now train their pixelated wizards in the art of magic—whether as a magician, a conjuror, a warlock, or even a novice.

“Zards® Training (soft staking) is now LIVE, the project tweeted.” Train your Zards® and passively earn MP (Magic Points), which are fused to the metadata and INCREASE your Zard's rarity! You can also claim FREE $ZARDS Tokens at the end of the training timeframe!”

While training takes time, enrolling your Zards in classes couldn’t be easier. Simply visit the project’s website, select the Zards you’d like to train, pick a timeframe, and approve the gasless transaction. Need help? Check out the tutorial video below:

Since this morning’s launch, over 1,600 Zards have enrolled and begun their mystical training.

Today’s Zards training launch is just the first of many planned updates and initiatives that project is working on!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Zards is an OG ApeChain project with roots dating back to the NFT heyday of 2021, when founder Seb Brook launched his prehistoric-themed project, PixelSaurus, which garnered strong support from many Apes.

The 5,000 Zards we know on ApeChain today inhabit the depths of PixelSaurus’ homeworld. These underground wizards have a rich lore that Seb plans to expand upon through an upcoming book titled Zards Stories: The Time of Shadows, as well as through online activations, games, and, of course, thrilling adventures on the Otherside.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Zards project and keep you posted on everyone’s wizard training. Stay tuned for updates!
