"YES": Bored Ape Yacht Club Co-Founder Garga Reaffirmed That There Will Be An ApeFest In 2023

Bored Ape Yacht Club Co-Founder Garga assured the community this morning that there will be an ApeFest this year!

On Wednesday, BAYC member Shaneyyricch took to the club’s Discord server and asked, “is there an APEFEST this year?” Minutes later, Garga answered Shaneyyricch’s question with a simple and clear “yes.”

At this time, we do not know when or where the BAYC will host ApeFest 2023, but we do know that the event will not be in the big apple, according to Garga.

“Not this time,” Garga wrote when BAYC member 369 the big L brought up New York City this morning.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, BAYC Community Manager NGBxBen first told the community that ApeFest would not be in New York City during NFT NYC this year and that the event will take place outside the big apple as usual in January.

“Hey Apes, happy new year,” NGBxBen wrote on January 4th,2023. “We’ve been getting some questions about ApeFest timing this year since NFT NYC has changed to April. We’re still working on the specifics and don’t have any details to share yet, but we can tell you that it will not be in April. NFT NYC has been an amazing setting for our first two ApeFests, but we’re excited to explore new locations this year. Hope that helps anyone that was worried about booking travel.
