WINNER WINNER: ApeChain Spotlight Champ Allo Picks The Bored Ape Grand Prize!

And with the first prize pick in Season One of ApeChain’s Spotlight program, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Allo selected the Bored Ape!

After six weeks of trading, collecting, and getting social during Spotlight Season One, the bright lights of ApeChain were all on the big individual winner, Allo, as he took center stage and selected his prize, a Zombie Bored Ape with a beautiful orange background!

"Welcome home BAYC #7035 ,” he tweeted after the selection. “Still speechless to have won an BAYC on ApeChain Spotlight, and it's orange,” Thank you ApeChain."

Bored Ape #7035 is a seven-trait zombie fur primate with a Hawaiian shirt, Seaman’s hat, and bloodshot eyes. Based on these traits, the ape is ranked the 2,434th "Boredest" in the collection, according to Magic Eden.

 

“Love the ape, the ApeChain intern couldn’t have made a better choice,” Allo told the Gazette after getting his prize “Always wanted to have an orange background ape in the family.”

 

At this time, Allo has no specific plans for what he wants to build around his new Bored Ape, but he said he’ll think of something and noted that the ape is already famous!  “It’s already featured in  @playoffthegrid hidden on the map, pretty insane start for this ape!”

With Allo picking the Ape prize, the other top three individual Spotlight finishers will get to choose from the remaining rewards: a night out in New York City with PP Man, a night out in Miami with Garga featuring a visit to the dive bar that inspired BAYC, VIP tickets to Coachella, and a European race experience.
