WHIRLWIND WEEKEND: BAYC Member Adam Weitsman Purchases GLOSSLAB And His First CryptoPunk Over The Weekend!

From closing major business deals to finally adding a CryptoPunk to his collection, Adam Weitsman had a weekend to remember, one that left Bored Ape Yacht Club members and the broader Web3 world tipping their hats to him!

Things have been anything but boring for BAYC member Adam Weitsman this weekend. He kicked things off on Saturday by acquiring GLOSSLAB, an innovative hygiene-first nail care brand, and capped off the weekend with the purchase of CryptoPunk #638, a four-trait Punk with a top hat, VR glasses, and a chinstrap beard, for 76 ETH, or roughly $161,000 USD!

“First Punk,” Weitsman tweeted. “Really excited to get this one that has resonated with me for a very long time owned by legendary collector yeah yeah Special thanks to my brothers @nichoviss and  PunkPredictor for the guidance and @Fullbid_otc for making it happen. Love you guys.”

 

 

After Weitsman’s CryptoPunk pickup, Apes, Punks, and more took to the timeline to congratulate the notable collector and entrepreneur on his top (hat) tier weekend!

 

Many asked Weitsman if he planned to use his new Punk as a PFP, to which he replied “No sir. Always an Ape.”

 

 

At the time of this article’s publciation Weitman now holds, three Bored Apes, two Mutant Apes including Mega Demon, a Meebit, three Mega Kodas, two Otherdeeds, three Bored Ape Kennel Club pups, the Golden Key from Dookey Dash, 499 HV-MTLs, and his new Punk!
