WELCOME ABORED: Yuga Labs Is Building An Unnamed Onboarding Platform That Will Have Normies On ApeChain In 75 Seconds, According To PP Man!

Writer: KyleKyle

Getting crypto natives and normies onto ApeChain is about to get a whole lot easier after Yuga Labs’ Head of Product, PP Man, revealed that the company has been working on a platform that will allow anyone to $Ape onto ApeChain with just a few clicks!

Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Friday, as hundreds of BAYC members and others tuned in to the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s weekly Meet at The Clubhouse Space, featuring BarronVonHustle and IllaDaProducer.

During today’s space, PP Man took the stage and announced that Yuga Labs has been building a new, unnamed onboarding platform, separate from the ApeCoin Foundation. The platform will focus on non-crypto natives who are curious about crypto but have limited knowledge of bridging, blockchains, and centralized and decentralized exchanges.

“We’ve been working on the easiest way to onboard anyone, whether you’re Web3 native or someone who has no clue what crypto is,” PP Man said. “This thing we’ve been working on aims to solve that. Basically, how can you share apps on ApeChain with users without having to have them know what a Metamask or a Phantom wallet is.”

While details about the platform remain scarce, PP Man said it will make onboarding take about 75 seconds and will be so simple that users with no knowledge of crypto will be able to sign up or sign in with either an X, Gmail, or Apple ID. From there, they can onramp up to $500 USD into the platform using Apple Pay or a debit card with no KYC required. After that, anyone will be ready to ape into the ApeChain ecosystem.

“People should not care about onboarding,” PP Man said. “That should be so easy that you go in there with one click. You sign up and then you’re playing on whatever app you wanted to try out. Users should care about the apps itself. This product should not outshine the apps. It’s so minimal and it’s the easiest onboarding system so users can actually use the app.”

PP Man also mentioned that this platform will be rolling out in a few weeks and that Yuga Labs is currently looking for launch partner apps to collaborate with.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the development of this onboarding platform and will let you know when it officially launches and what apps will be available on it. Stay tuned for updates!
