WELCOME A-BORED: The Portugal Ape Club Put Together A Website To Introduce Their Frens From Around The Swamp To Portugal!

Portugal isn’t just the location of ApeFest 2024. It’s also a land filled with castles, culture, and beautiful beaches, offering incredible foods to try and wines to drink. And the Portugal Ape Club wants to ensure you experience everything their nation has to offer!

ApeFest is in 10 days, and the Portugal Ape Club is working hard to make their frens from around the swamp feel welcome in the City of Seven Hills.

 

“Our excitement knew no bounds when we learned that ApeFest, a significant event, would be hosted in our very own Lisbon,”Portugal Ape Club member Doxia told the Gazette. “From the outset, we were determined to showcase the best of Portugal.”

 

To do this,Doxia, along with the other Portugal Ape Club primates, created ApesInPortugal.com and filled it with restaurant recommendations and sites that are anything but boring.

“We created a simple platform where Apes could quickly scout for nice spots to visit and restaurants,” Doxia said.  “As a food expert, (BAYC member) Nef made an extensive list of his favorite restaurants. Then we added a few spots that you can visit and embrace a bit more our culture. Being an artist and animal lover, my favorite spots in Lisbon to visit are Mouraria, LX Factory, and, of course, our Oceanario, where you can relax and see many wonderful sea animals.”

 

Along with a list of must-see sights and dishes to try, the Portugal Ape Club also created a generative Portuguese Ape Tiles art collection that will give BAYC and MAYC members a unique digital memento of their time in this beautiful country.

“Depending on the background and fur traits of your ape or mutant, it generates a Portuguese Tile, which I drew,” Doxia said. “We teamed up with BoredCloset, where you can download your tile and ape from their website”
