Up next: Nexus. On Wednesday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga shared more lore about the Koda homeworld, revealing that the Nexus is a city built on a Chaos Otherdeed and centered around a massive temple, that's the key to all sorts of mystical secrets!
Earlier today, Garga aped into the Otherside Discord and shared more details about the Nexus, tying it back to Yuga Labs’ September 2022 “Before Curtis” teaser trailer.
“Think of Nexus as the ancestral home of the Kodas, with an enormous Koda temple at its center,” Garga wrote. “It’s the central hub for all Otherside, connecting realms and biomess through a vast network of portals. in its prime, Nexus was illuminated by Soma, which is the creation energy you saw Blue bottling up in the Otherside B.C. trailer but chaos, the other energy we see in the trailer and throughout Otherside, has really fucked the place up these days.... it is a Chaos environment but a major city similar to Meetropolis. it's near the site of the temple we see in the second Otherside trailer."

Today’s Nexus update echoes Garga’s comments about the Koda homeworld during his keynote speech at ApeFest 2024.
“Kodas are the ancient keepers of Otherside,” Garga said at the time. “They balance the primal forces of creation and chaos, or they try to, and they tried to rebuild their world. And we are going to be visiting the Koda home world soon, its called Nexus. It’s the core of the Otherside universe."

At this time, we don’t know exactly when Voyagers will venture to the Nexus, but we do know that Project Dragon Season 3 will take place there. We also know that Yuga Labs whale Adam Weitsman’s Mega Koda and Chaos Otherdeed will play a role in the story.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman acquired the Robotic Mega Koda and a Chaos Otherdeed from Yuga Labs in December 2024.
