TO FUSE OR NOT TO FUSE? Mutant Hound Holders Will Be Invited On A New Journey Later This Week

The expanded Yugaverse will never be the same after Novel Labs opens the fusing gates and invites Mutant Hound holders to embark on a new and mysterious path.

Nine months after the Mutant Hounds took the expanded Yugaverse by storm, the two main characters in the Novel Labs’ story, Blaksoot and Darkfang, are close to perfecting their forms and are inviting Mutant Hound holders to join them on their next journey.

“Fusion is upon us,” Novel Labs wrote. “The two leaders have started on their respective paths to fuse Mutant Hound and Mutant.”

While we do not know where this path will lead Mutant Hounds holders, we do know that they will be given the choice to follow Blaksoot and Darkfang on this journey and burn their insane pups in exchange for one of the project’s four 'base fusing materials,' starting tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST.

“This process is IRREVERSIBLE and will remain open until the maximum 5,000 Hounds are burnt, so be sure to think hard about which Hounds you burn,” Novel Labs warned.

The type of 'base fusing materials’ that holders will receive in exchange for their Mutant Hound NFTs will depend on when they burn their pup for the material.

“The Materials created will be in sequential order: Mint 1 = Hound Organs Mint 2 = Bottled Soul Mint 3 = Dark Serum Mint 4 = Hacked DNA Mint 5 = Hound Organs and so on,” Novel Labs wrote. “In addition, a rare fifth Material will be freely available to VIP Oath holders. This will occur independently from the burn process.”

VIP Oath holders will be the first invited to join Blaksoot and Darkfang tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST.

Next, Pledge Oath Holders will be invited to join on August 24th at 12 P.M. EST followed by Mutant Hound Holders on August 25th at 12 P.M. EST, according to Novel Labs.

Again, while it unclear where this path will lead holders who chose to burn their Mutant Hounds, we do know that they will be able to combine their fusion materials with either a BAYC, MAYC, or Mutant Cartel Oath in the near future to create a ‘fused Hound,’ according to the project.
