Bored Ape #8877 was purchased by BAYC member Boothy.

Bored Ape #8877 is a four trait brown fur ape with an unshaven face and laser beam eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #8877 is the 30th rarest ape, according to Rarity Tools.

While the Bored Ape Gazette did not talk directly to Boothy about the purchase, it seems like they have an affinity towards minimalist trait apes, based on Opensea activity.

Boothy made an unsuccessful bid and offer on a 5 trait ape 2 months ago. After that, Boothy purchased a four trait ape for 3 Eth and was transferred another four trait ape.

Three days ago, Boothy then transferred one of the four trait apes.

Then, Boothy sold their remaining four trait ape for 15 Eth earlier today.

“I sold out of my ape,”Boothy tweeted.”15 eth offer! Hard to turn down, that. On the hunt I go for a new one.”

A few hours later, Boothy found their new ape.

“Somehow my sale of ape 9607 today inspired me to buy a top 30 ape (http://rarity.tools) and now much the poorer for it," Boothy tweeted. "Reverse psych!”

Bored Ape #8877 is Boothy’s only Bored Ape, according to Evaluate. Market.
