The Next Part Of Applied Primate Engineering's Story Began Today. Here's What Happened:

A day after Fragmentxyz added its fifth Mega Mutant Ape to its collection, the group’s project, Applied Primate Engineering, shared a cryptic letter on social media.

“This strange letter arrived in our office today, but we can’t make sense of what it says…, Applied Primate Engineering tweeted. “We need your help to decipher it, join us: https://discord.com/invite/3qKzhrUx.”

Fragmentxyz through Applied Primate Engineering is writing a story around the Mega Mutant Apes, according to Fragmentxyz founder PTM.

“Yep, we added Mega Noise to the @fragmentxyz team yesterday,” PTM tweeted today. “One of my all-time favorite Megas! Our friends at @yugalabs are becoming the @Disney of web3 and we want to build the next @MarvelStudios inside the Yuga universe. The Megas are the Avengers, of course.”

Many BAYC members may remember Applied Primate engineering for its insane gold fur Mega Mutant reveal on the first night of Ape Fest 2022.

“This has been a long time coming and we’re so excited to share it with the community,” PTM previously told the Bored Ape Gazette after the gold fur Mega Mutant Ape was revealed. “We’re honored to continue to build our own space inside the universe built by Yuga Labs, we’re hoping Applied Primate and our 4 mega mutants will be a central part of this universe for many going forward. More to come from Applied Primate soon!”

After Applied Primate Engineering’s cryptic tweet today, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to PTM to find out more about Fragmentxyz’s storytelling project.

“Today’s game is the beginning of the next phase of the story, PTM told the Gazette. “A strange letter arrived in the lab and players already decrypted it live in the discord, located a locker in LA where the Gold Mega has left a message for one of our characters, and a player is on their way to the locker as we speak. Jump in!”
