THE KODAS ARE COMING: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Confirms Kodas Will Be Playable In Next Month's Episode Of Project Dragon!

While the Kodas have been on the Otherside since the dawn of time, these mystical creatures will soon make their 3D-modeled debut during next month’s Project Dragon event!

November’s episode of Project Dragon promises to be anything but boring, as Yuga Labs CEO Garga confirmed that Koda holders will be able to play as their characters in the next battle between Aqua and Orange BitFizz fans, set to take place on the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s home world, The Swamp.

“Koda avatars go live next month in Project Dragon, where we'll be battling for the clubhouse in The Swamp,” Garga tweeted yesterday. “ Season 3 of Project Dragon will take place on Nexus, the Koda homeworld. Will have a chance for folks to explore the Nexus for a townhall prior to then though. Likely December.”

 

 

Yesterday’s tweet reaffirms what Garga shared about Otherside during ApeFest 2024 earlier this month. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga first announced that the Kodas were on their way and delved into their lore during his keynote speech.

“I think ApeChain is going to be a huge level up for the club, but I’ve been focused since being back as CEO on making sure Otherside is a huge level up and maiing sure its living on ApeChain,” he said on October 19th during night two of ApeFest.  “First things first, we want to talk Kodas. These little fuckers here are the ancient keepers of Otherside. they balance the primal forces of creation and chaos, or they try too ,and they rebuild their world. We are going to be visint the Koda home world on Otherside pretty soon, its called Nexus. It’s the core of the Otherside universe…. Koda holders will be able to play as their Kodas next month in Project Dragon, and in season 3 we will be battling for the Nexus. By the way, Kodas are a pretty fun class to play as Tanks, which is a new class we are going to be debuting in next month’s Dragon.”

Next month’s Project Dragon event will be Episode 4 of the game and the first time since September that Apes, Meebs, Voyagers, and more ape into battle and ass blast one another.
