The Hunt Is On As HV-MTL Forge Season 6 Began Today. Here's What You Need To Know:

After 105 days of building, cleaning, and training, the hunt is on and HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs are journeying into the Rift one last time to battle the Rift Boss and upgrade their Mechs to their next form and possibly win some ApeCoin.

The sixth and final season of the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s HV-MTL Forge dubbed “Rift Boss” began today and HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs will need to venture into the Rift, find a boss, and defeat the beast in battle.

“That’s right, the Rift Boss has touched down and is ready to ruin your HV’s day,” Yuga Labs wrote on its gaming guide website. “But you know all that Energy you generated and Augments you’ve been building and beefing up? Well, it’s finally time to put them to the test!”

When HV-MTL Holders enter the Rift, they will have the option to enter 'Rift Boss' mode and search for the creature. MTL Holders will know they have found the Boss when they come across a special area that transforms into an arena, where only their Mech or the Boss can emerge as the victor.

If HV-MTL Holder's Mechs win, they will be rewarded with a Shard. The more Shards HV-MTL Holders win, the more they will be rewarded in $Ape while also upgrading their HVs, according to the gaming guide.

“Rewards for Forge revolve around Evo 2 and upgrading your HV for future activations,” Yuga Labs wrote. “The story of your HV will continue to move beyond Forge as we embark on future adventures. For those who are at the top of the Shards Leaderboard at the end of season 6, ApeCoin rewards as part of the icing on the cake.”

Along with Boss hunting this season, HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs will also be able to craft five new items and place them in their Forges.

HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs have between now and November 2nd to fight bosses and add new items to their Hv-Homes before their Mechs transform to their Evo2 forms and the community embarks on the journey to Evo3
