THE CASE FOR APECHAIN: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Says $Ape And ApeChain Are Uniquely Positioned To Onboard The Masses

Three days after ApeChain launched, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to Twitter to make the case for $Ape, inviting builders from around the Web3 world to stop building for 'another boring-ass chain' and instead bring their innovations to ApeChain, adding, 'The apes would love to have you.'

On Tuesday, Wolves DAO's ICOBeast shared his thoughts on TopTrader, tweeting that the only drawback he sees is whether ApeChain can attract a broad enough audience.

 

In response, Garga replied that $Ape and ApeChain are uniquely positioned to onboard the masses, citing its listings on Coinbase and Coinbase Commerce, as well as Yuga Labs' Yuga ID platform, which allows users to create wallets with just their Twitter or Gmail.

“As of writing, APE is a top 100 token (~#68). It's listed on Coinbase and every major exchange, and the grand majority of the supply is already out there, Garga tweeted.” It's even one of the tiny handful of tokens integrated with Coinbase Commerce. Few things in crypto are more accessible or easy to use. But still working on a bunch of stuff to improve that. That said: You can onboard onto Top Trader with a few clicks, signing in via your Twitter account, without ever knowing or giving a fuck that you're playing a fully on-chain game on ApeChain. All the shit parts of setting up a a wallet, etc., are abstracted away via Yuga ID. But this is just the first app we're shipping. In a lot of ways, it's just a proof of concept of the sort of stuff you can do on ApeChain. In this case, using: Yuga ID + Reboot's Skill-Based Wagering + Fully On-Chain Games. So, a note to builders: If you've been developing an app for some other boring ass chain Don't The apes would love to have you.”
