The Bored Ape Yacht Club Teased A Collab With Adidas. What We Know So Far:

Excitement was high at the Bored Ape Yacht Club today as the club teased a partnership with one of the largest brands in the world.

Earlier today, the BAYC took to Twitter to share a photo of a 3D model bored ape sporting a green tracksuit featuring

“Last time @adidas did a collab with this level of culture/consumers behind it was with @kanyewest, “BAYC member JOxRDAN.Eth tweeted. “If you think jPeGs are all these #NFTs are, you’re being stubborn. Everyone’s still so early, theres still so much upside #WAGMI.”

At the time of this articles publication, the BAYC has not commented further regarding the collab on social media or the club’s Disocrd. However, The BAYC did previously say that it had “Collabs, partnerships and dope shit we don’t want to be frontrun on,” in the clubs Roadmap 2.0 release. This collab possibly falls into that category.

While the BAYC hasn’t commented on what apes can expect from the upcoming collaboration, notable Punks Comic investor Beanie Maxi may have shed some light on what BAYC, Punks Comic and GMoney holders can expect going forward.

“Pixel Vault is returning 100% of its proceeds from the @adidas merch drop to the community,” Beanie tweeted earlier today.

While Pixel Vault did not post that on its Twitter, Beanie typically speaks on good authority about what that project plans to do. Based on Beanie’s track record, this tweet, and the assumption that all three projects will have the same "merch drop," it appears that their will likely be some sort of physical merch drop for the three projects going forward.
