The Bored Ape Yacht Club Has A lot Of Merch Planned For 2024 Including ApeFest Capsules, Collabs With BAPE, And The Launch Of A New Online Shop!

Yuga Labs announced that its preorder ApeFest bundle was the first of many merch drops in the works for Bored Ape Yacht Club members, including an unrevealed ApeFest Capsule, a collaboration with A Bathing Ape, and an all-new online store that will always have merch on deck!

On Tuesday, Yuga Labs hosted its fifth Bored Meeting in the BAYC Discord and announced that Apes’ wardrobes will be broader than ever, as the company plans to release new merch throughout the remainder of 2024.

Currently, the BAYC’s first merch drop of the year, a preorder ApeFest merch bundle that includes an exclusive ApeFest tee, tube socks, and a BAYC-branded disposable camera, is available between now and July 12th.

This ApeFest preorder bundle won’t be the only ApeFest merch community members will be able to get their paws on this year.

The BAYC will be releasing an ApeFest capsule that will be available for purchase at ApeFest 2024 and online to everyone around the swamp!

Along with another round of ApeFest merch, Yuga Labs will be expanding upon its primate partnership with A Bathing Ape later this year.

“Collabs are a huge part of what we are doing and is one of the core pillars of the brand,” the BAYC’sCcreative Director Jeff Nicholas. “BAPE is coming up.”

While we do not know what this BAPE collaboration will entail, we do know that the BAYC’s first collab with BAPE featured a limited edition shoe, a Baby Milo X Bored Ape tee, a pillow, a BAPE X BAYC rug,  hoodies, shirts, and more.

In addition to limited-edition and limited-time merch drops, Yuga Labs also announced that it is launching an online store sometime after ApeFest that will always have merch available for Apes!

“We heard you guys about wanting always on merch and wanting to always be able to go to the store and buy members only shirts, especially for new members who are like where’s my shirt and where’s my hoodies,” Nicholas said. “We are planning that for sure, but ApeFest is first.”

At the time of this article’s publication, we do not know exactly what items Yuga Labs plans to fill its ‘always on’ store with, but Nicholas did tease ‘OG Hoodie 2.0, OG Shirt 2.0, and seasonal drops' will all be on the site.

“TLDR, pre-order bundle now, Bape drop coming, more collabs in the works, ApeFest capsule coming globally, always on stuff after that,” Nicholas said. “Long-term merch program for the win.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the BAYC’s merch drops and will let you know when more information becomes available. Stay tuned for updates!
