The BAYC X BAPE SHARKSTA Shoes Drop This Weekend! Find Out More:

BAPEs, Apes, and sneakerheads will be stepping out of the swamp in style this weekend as the communities B-APE into the two new Bored Ape Yacht Club x A Bathing Ape Sharksta shoes!

Phase 2 of the BAYC x BAPE Season 2 collab is happening this weekend, and BAYC members are invited to ape into a limited edition of 1,000 camouflage shoes made exclusively for them, as well as a blue colorway sneaker that’s numbered to a thousand and will be available to everyone.

“Sneakers made for the swamp. The BAPE® X BAYC SHARKSTA will drop on October 12th, 10AM ET,” the BAYC tweeted with three new pics of the kicks. “Both colorways (green are holder exclusive) ship with dust bags, an extra set of laces, and will be individually numbered to /1000.”

 

Each of these new Sharksta Shoes designs are new silhouettes from BAPE and feature tons of details throughout, according to BAYC member and resident sneakerhead Franalations, who unboxed a pair of the BAYC exclsuive camoflague shoes last month.

 “Awesome sneakers, can’t wait to rock these,” he said.

 

These shoes will be the second and third BAYC x BAPE shoes that these two primate brands have collaborated on.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC and BAPE sold 1,000 pairs of BAPESTA 2M shoes during ApeFest and online last year.

 

 

At this time, we do not know how much these BAPE® x BAYC SHARKSTA shoes will cost, but we do know that the BAYC and BAPE charged $339 for last year’s pair.
