The ApeCoin DAO's Fourth Quarter Staking Rewards Started Today. Here's What You Need To Know:

The ApeCoin DAO’s fourth quarter staking rewards kicked off today and the DAO will be distributing 15,000,000 $Ape to stakers between now and December 10th, 2023.

272 days after the ApeCoin DAO’s staking contract went live on December 12th, 2022, the protocol’s fourth quarter staking rewards have kicked off and 15 million $Ape is set to be distributed across the protocols four staking pools over the next 90 days, according to the ApeCoin staking reward schedule in AIP 21 & AIP 22.

Over the next three months, 4,500,00 $Ape will be distributed to the $Ape only Pool, 7,065,750 $Ape will be distributed to the BAYC Pool, 2,859,000 $Ape will be distributed to the MAYC Pool, and 575,250 $Ape will be distributed to the BAKC Paired Pool, according to ApeStake.io.

The 15,000,000 $Ape tokens that will be distributed between now and December 10th, 2023, is part of the 100,000,000 $Ape tokens that the ApeCoin community voted to give to holders during the first year of the DAO's three-year staking program.

In total, the DAO will distribute 175 million $Ape to stakers over the three-year lifespan of the staking protocol, as outlined in AIP 21 and AIP 22.
