SWAMPED: TokenGators Surface On Ethereum, ApeChain, And The Timeline During Friday’s Reveal

The Florida saying, "If there's water, there's a gator," now applies to blockchains too, thanks to the Bored Ape Yacht Club-inspired TokenGators project!

On Friday, the swamps of the BAYC and the canals of ApeChain became infested as 4,000 TokenGator NFTs surfaced—2,000 crocodilians on Ethereum and another 2,000 on ApeChain!

“Ladies and Gatormen, first of all, thank you so much for your support, it's a tremendous honor to see your praise and involvement on the timeline,” TokenGators tweeted. “This project and the artworks that are in the process of revealing are the culmination of over two years of hard work. We are a passionate team of obsessive collectors who wanted to create something remarkable and long lasting for the enthusiasts in this space.”

As the Gators reared their heads on Ethereum, the project announced it had sent holders an additional TokenGator to their ApeChain wallets via LayerZero’s ONFT technology. The TokenGators team also revealed that all Gators will soon be able to swim freely across chains, allowing holders to move their NFTs seamlessly between ApeChain and Ethereum!

Following the reveal, TokenGator holders turned the timeline into a congregation of crocs, flooding it with photos of their swamp puppies!

At the time of this article’s publication, there were 617 holders on ApeChain and 705 on Ethereum. The floor prices for each collection are currently 215 $Ape on ApeChain and 0.064 ETH on Ethereum.
