It’s going to be a BAPE morning in the swamp tomorrow as Bored Ape Yacht Club members ape into the release of two new BAYC x A Bathing Ape Sharksta shoes!
Apes, BAPEs, and sneakerheads alike will be stepping up their style tomorrow morning as BAYC and BAPE drop two limited-edition shoes, each numbered to 1,000: a camouflage colorway exclusive to BAYC members, and a blue colorway available to everyone.
The BAPE® X BAYC SHARKSTA will now launch in a BAYC/MAYC exclusive sale on Oct. 12 at 10AM ET at http://store.boredapeyachtclub.com,: the club tweeted. “Both the Blue & Ape-exclusive Green colorways will be available…. BAPE® will now release the blue colorway on Oct. 12 on http://bape.com .”
Both new Sharksta shoe designs feature a fresh silhouette from BAPE, packed with bored details.
“The BAPE® X BAYC SHARK STA features a full shark tooth overlay made from glow-in-the-dark microfiber and reflective fiber, and "A BORED APE" tag alongside the BAPE STA logo in TPU on the outsole, the club tweeted along more photos of the shoes.
These shoes will be the second and third BAYC x BAPE shoes that these two primate brands have collaborated on.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC and BAPE sold 1,000 pairs of BAPESTA 2M shoes during ApeFest and online last year.
