It’s almost showtime, Apes! Things are anything but boring around the swamp as Bored Ape Yacht Club members slip into their comfy clothes and get ready to tune in for another season of Killer Whales that features an all-new tie-in with perks and airdrops for Apes!
Web3’s answer to Shark Tank, Killer Whales, a reality show made by Apes, starring a notable Ape judge, and spotlighting builders from around the swamp, is returning to the small screen soon!
To spread the word and get Apes excited, Killer Whales Executive Producer and BAYC member Sander Gortjes teamed up with BoredCloset to get Apes dressed for the premiere.
“All @BoredApeYC need a Killer Whales Hoodie,” Gorjes tweeted last week while teasing a free airdrop. “Go to: https://boredcloset.xyz/collection/bayc and rock it.”
Following Gortjes’ tweet, Apes quickly outfitted their primates with hoodies and began sharing pics and hyping the show on X.
“For this new campaign it is focused on getting some traction with the BAYC community, also using my old BAYC account @KingsinCrypto to connect the dots for some apes,” Gortjes told the Gazette. “The collab with BoredCloset is an effective one to show the strength of the BAYC community and we want to attach Killer Whales into it. @illaDaProduceris a judge of course and we've built great relationships with fellow apes along the years. Big ambassadors are people like @MichaelKdcl, @Brandon_i0, @TommyWorldPower, @BoredBrewingCo and @dadswheels.”
But Killer Whales isn’t just here to entertain Apes, it’s also bringing rewards to the ecosystem!
“We'll open up our new HELLO Club, which will have perks and free rewards/airdrops for all Ape holders,” Gortjes teased. “This is not mandatory at all, but just a way for us to give back and show a partnership.”
At this time, we do not know much about this HELLO Club, but Killer Whale’s parent company HELLO Labs does have “$HELLO” token in its bio on X and, if the rewards are anything like the show, it will be well produced and go big!
