STAKING SEASON: The Fourth Quarter Of ApeCoin DAO's Year Two Staking Rewards Kicks Off With 11,250,000 $Ape Up For Grabs!

The fourth quarter of the ApeCoin DAO’s year two staking rewards begins today, with 11,250,000 $Ape (equivalent to $8,212,500 USD) set to be distributed across the four staking pools over the next 90 days!

The ApeCoin DAO’s staking reward program is entering the home stretch as the final quarter of year two begins today—leading into the last year of the three-year $Ape staking rewards program.

During this quarter, 3,375,000 $Ape will be distributed to the $Ape only Pool, 5,461,875 $Ape will be distributed to the BAYC Pool, 2,080,125 $Ape will be distributed to the MAYC Pool, and 333,000 $Ape will be distributed to the BAKC Paired Pool, according to a previous post from former ApeCoin DAO Special Council Member Gerry.

 

This 11,250,000 $Ape that will be distributed to stakers over the next 90 days is part of the 50 million coins allocated to the second year of staking rewards in the early days of the DAO.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the DAO approved the distribution of 175 million $Ape to stakers over a three-year staking period in May 2022. This includes 100 million coins disbursed in the first year, 50 million in the second year, and another 25 million set to be distributed as staking rewards in year three, which is scheduled to start on or around December 8, 2024, as outlined in AIP 21 and AIP 22.
