SPOTLIGHT: This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Made A Custom 2nd Trip "Jimmy-Fied" Edit For Garga

As Voyagers get ready for the second trip to the Otherside this weekend, this Bored Ape Yacht club member made a custom “Jimmy-fied” version of the Garga’s Bored Ape to commemorate the monumental moment.

Earlier this week, Yuga Labs’ Co-Founder Garga took to Twitter and shared a “Jimmy-Fied” version of his Bored Ape holding a sign that simply said, “Second Trip.”

“Stoked for 2nd trip,” the Garga tweeted. “Hat tip to @boredfigs.”

Following Garga’s post, the Gazette reached out to the artist, BoredFigs, and found out that this 2nd trip “Jimmy-Fied” edit was made just for Garga!

“The 2nd Trip cardboard sign was actually a special request from Garga himself,” BoredFigs told the Gazette. “So I’m just gonna leave that one just for him. He wanted to look like a hitchhiker.”

BoredFigs went on to tell the Gazette that seeing Garga share his work felt like getting a good grade from a teacher!

"I felt like Garga gave me an A+ in art class," he said. “. We’ve all been waiting for another trip to the Otherside and very hyped for it!”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, BoredFigs, has been making Jimmy the Monkey style Ape edits ever since the BAYC started its MDVMM storyline in December 2022.
