SPOTLIGHT: This BAYC Member Just Opened A High-End Collectibles Store And Lounge In Miami And Apes Are VIPs!

From cards to JPEGs, this Bored Ape Yacht Club member has been a collector his whole life. Now, he’s opened a high-end collectibles store and lounge in Wynwood, Miami, featuring on-site card grading, rare sports cards like a $200,000 1/1 Joe Burrow NFL Shield, and a ton of Bored Apes!

Earlier this month, BAYC member Alex Aleksandrovski opened the Collectors Club in Miami Florida with the goal of making collecting cool and sexy!

“I’m a lifetime collector and every card shop i've been to is just a disorganized / low-end place. i wanted to make collecting cool and sexy,” he said. “this really is a brand new type of experience that never existed and i hope even non-collectors can come and enjoy and invest into collectibles, or just have a good time.”

The Collectors Club is 1,500 square feet of collecting bliss, with curated displays of high-end collectible cards ranging from baseball to Pokémon, plus tons of sealed boxes and cases that visitors can purchase, rip, and have graded on-site!

“For the first time in history we have a retail location to grade cards same day,” Aleksandrovski told the Gazette.

 

Amidst the cards and wax, the Collectors Club is also displaying NFTs on the walls! 

“It wouldn't be a true Collectors Club w/out NFTs,” he said. “Our main showcase is focused around high-end collectibles such as sports cards and Pokemon cards + sealed boxes and cases. However BAYC and punks are also some of the most high end collectibles so I wanted to include them. We have 11 NFT displays, that double as TVs/content screens. At the moment we're displaying 4 apes of mine and hope to put other members on rotation as they come to Collectors Club.”

 

Everyone around the swamp will want to check out what Aleksandrovski calls the unofficial BAYC HQ. BAYC members can enjoy free drinks at the venue’s lounge, and he’s even doing a slab giveaway for his frens who pull up!
