SPOTLIGHT: The UK Ape Club Is 'Made By Apes!' Find Out More About This Official BAYC Sub-Community!

It's smooth sailing ahead for the UK Ape Club after this dapper group of Bored Ape Yacht Club members from the Blighty obtained their 'Made By Apes' license earlier this month!

On September 12th, the UK Ape Club, an official community group for BAYC, MAYC & BAKC holders in the UK that’s been a part of the Yuga Labs ecosystem since the beginning, obtained Made By Apes License #00168!

“We’re delighted to have picked up Made By Apes approval,” the UK Ape Club told the Gazette. “We’ve been running events for apes in the UK for over two years now and we jumped at the chance to spread the word further. The Bodega marketplace will be an excellent resource for us to find apes in the UK to join our community. We have to give a massive shoutout to all of our members who make the UK Ape Club what it is!”

Going forward the official sub-community plans to host more events in the UK, make a strong showing at Ape Fest 2023 in Hong Kong, and get more involved at the ApeCoin DAO!

The UK Ape Club is just one of 216 Made By Apes brands and businesses that are apart of Yuga Labs’ Made By Apes Program so far!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported,“Made by Apes empowers holder-creators of BAYC and MAYC NFTs by verifying, supporting, and amplifying goods or services they offer using their BAYC and MAYC NFTs,” Yuga Labs wrote on the Made By Apes Website. “The Made by Apes program authenticates that licensees own a BAYC or MAYC NFT and grants a license to use the Yuga-made Made by Apes logo in connection with their products or services.”

The goal of the Made by Apes program and licenses is to give Apes' products and services more legitimacy and exposure as Yuga Labs confirms via on-chain data that they are, in fact, 'made by Apes!
