SPOTLIGHT: The Mutant Cats DAO Survived A Rugging& Are Getting Ready To Build In The Yugaverse!

This is no dead cat bounce.

The Mutant Cats DAO has eight lives left after they used one last year to survive a rugging by their founders and now the community is preparing to claw their way back into web3 and make a name for themselves in Yugaverse!

The Mutant Cat DAO, a collection of 9,999 Mutated cats, was an NFT project that was launched in October 2021 and promptly rugged by the founder.

While being abandoned by their creator may have been too much for the typical house cat project, these firstly felines fought back and continued to build their DAO.

“It was a slow rug pull, but even as it happened, our dedicated crew of holders stuck around, strong and committed from the beginning,” the Mutant Cats Board Liaison Zion told the Gazette. “We rallied together and built a power that those rug-pulling troublemakers couldn't beat. That's the spark that gave birth to the DAO and a bunch of the values we still live by today.”

After a lengthy battle with the founder, the community took ownership of the project and began building the DAO’s portfolio; which they filled with tons of Yuga labs assets and ApeCoin.

“Yuga has always been the one to shake things up in this realm of innovation, Zion said. “With their current top dogs steering the ship, we're seeing a clear route for them to connect the dots between the Web3 universe and the real world, a goal shared by the Mutant Cats crew. Our bets are high on otherside and apes and we look forward to seeing how their vision unfolds in the coming years.”

Today the Mutant Cats DAO holds three Bored Apes, 11 Mutants, three Bored Ape Kennel Club Dogs, and 17 Otherdeeds!

With these assets theMutant Cat DAO hopes to build a home for their community once Web3 breaks on through to the Otherside!

Along with their big kitty dreams of building a home for themselves in the metaverse, the Mutant Cats DAO also plans to get involved in the $Ape ecosystem with their 56,258 $Ape!
