SPOOKY STAKING: Horizen Labs Announced $Ape Staking "Go-Live Date" Is On Halloween
Horzien Labs turned spooky season into staking season after the company announced that $ApeCoin staking is set to begin this Halloween!
After Horzien Labs had to cancel a planned staking update Twitter Space on Thursday; the company announced its “go-live date” for $Ape staking.
“In lieu of today’s postponed spaces, we wanted to share the go-live date for Ape Staking, which is currently scheduled for October 31st,” Horizen Labs tweeted. “That date may move left or right by a week. We'll keep you posted.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Horizern Labs was tasked with creating the ApeCoin staking system in July 2022.
Since then, the company has shared details about the $Ape staking system including a sneak peak of the staking system’s user interface.
In the first segment of the video, Horizen Labs showed viewers the four different pools that holders will be able to stake their $Ape in.
The four pools will be:
1. ApeCoin ($Ape) Pool,
2. Bored Ape (BAYC) Pool
3. Mutant (MAYC) Pool
4. Paired (BAKC) Pool
The next slide, Horizen Labs showed viewers the dashboard that they will use when staking their $Ape coin.
“Provided is an overview of all your staked positions,” the mock image stated. “Enter into new positions and manage existing positions by depositing, withdrawing, and claiming rewards.”
On the final slide, Horzien Labs announced that it was making Market tools for its staking system. These tools will give users the ability to “gain insight with wallet transparency.”
“Use ApeStake.io Market Tools search feature to see whether a BAYC, MAYC, or BAKC is committed to a staking position, how much $Ape is staked with it, and the associated wallet address,” the mock image stated.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Horizen Labs and will let you know when they give the community another staking update.
