SOON: Gutter Cat Gang’s $GANG Token Is Expected To Launch In The Next 7–10 Days, According To The Team

$GANG time is coming to ApeChain later this month, as the Gutter Cat Gang updates its community on when the project’s “No roadmap. No promises. Just vibes.” token will be ready to claim following a technical mix-up earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Gutter Cat Gang Discord moderator Ceres gave the gang an update on the $GANG token after a less-than-purrfect launch on Monday.

“Well, that couldn’t have gone more perfect eh, he wrote. “We would like to apologies for the delay due to this technical issue with our smart contract and we sincerely appreciate every one of you who has stood up for the community, shit happens, unfortunately. I know you're all eager to start trading $GANG, a useless and valueless token with no promises. I want to assure you that your $GANG tokens are still yours and are safe, technically TGE did occur, however the claim has been delayed. As soon as the contract and claiming mechanics have been thoroughly re-tested, we'll be able to proceed, and I'll announce the new date and time to claim. Within 7 - 10 days, likely within 7. We appreciate your patience and understanding.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Gutter Cat Gang’s $GANG token launch was delayed on Monday after the team discovered “a niche technical issue by a third party” that could impact the token’s liquidity, according to Gutter Cat Gang owner Yugen.

 

While we wait for more details from Yugen and the Gutter Cats team, here’s what we do know about $GANG. The coin will have a total supply of 1 billion tokens and launch with a fully diluted market cap of $6.9 million, according to the project’s tokenomics.

 

We also know that Gutter Cats, Rats, Dogs, and Pigeons, along with Apes, Geez, and other familiar frens from across the Web3 space will all be eligible to claim an allocation of $GANG when it officially drops.

 

“Cats get 66,666 each. Rats, Dogs, Pigeons get 5,555 Each,” Yugen said in a video earlier this month. “Gutter Chip holders can claim $GANG based on the amount held in the linked wallets as a division of the total Gutter Grab allocation. Apes, Mutants, Geez, Regenerates, Kanpai Pandas, ON1 Force, Quirkies, are all getting $GANG.”
