The bright lights of ApeChain are shining on the Geez On Ape today after they stole the show during Spotlight Season 1 on their way to winning a six figure floor sweep courtesy of the ApeCoin DAO!
There’s a lot to Geez about this Monday after the ApeCoin DAO officially announced that the 5,555 lovably dim-witted 3D Gorillas of the Geez On Ape project took the top spot in Spotlight Season 1 with 769 million points from the $Ape community, besting second-place Gobs On Ape by nearly 230 million points!
“Thank you Geez for you continuous support and everyone who delegated to @GeezOnApe,” the project tweeted after its win. “Couldn't have done it without you! Geez on Top! ApeChain on Top!”
Following the victory, Geez On Ape Founder Rida took to Discord to thank the community and congratulate both holders and flippers for geezing with him and the team. He also reaffirmed his commitment to building on ApeChain for the long run.
“Those worried about floor price, please don’t,” Rida wrote. “200k$ Volume is coming into Geez that’s huge. We will continue to build and deliver regardless of floor price. We are 4 months old... and just getting started. To people exiting, we are beyond proud to have had you in our community and super stoked we were able to deliver 4000% profits + other airdrops. We will be here when u decide to come back.”

At this time, it’s unclear when the ApeCoin intern will start sweeping the Geez On Ape floor with $100,000, but Rida shared his thoughts on which traits many collectors value, while emphasizing that every Geez is a Geez!
“Astro Suits , Gold furs , hip hop jacket and crowns have always been most sought after,” Rida said. “In my eyes all traits are grails , as they all unlock UGC utility among other things like alpha channel and airdrops. Gee = Gee.”
As the ApeChain ecosystem waits for the floor sweeps to begin, Rida is already eyeing the unannounced Spotlight Season 2, where he hopes to keep Geez on top. “See u in Season 2,” he told the Gazette.
