Yuga Labs’ BaronVonHustle avoided the dreaded “Wapey, Wapey” and gave the Bored Ape Yacht Club and ApeChain ecosystem something to Geez about on Friday after adding a Geez On Ape to his collection!
Things were anything but boring during Friday’s Meet at the Clubhouse Twitter Space when BaronVonHustle revealed to Geez On Ape Founder, Rida, that he did not currently hold a Gee.
“I’m going to publicly state this, I don’t have a Geez. I feel bad about it,” Baron said after giving Rida his flowers for hosting his recent Builders Twitter Space.
After this admission, Rida gave Baron an ultimatum, telling him that they would have something to Geez about if he didn’t ape in.
“I’ve never fudded you Barron and never fudded meet at the clubhouse. But by the next meet at the clubhouse if you do not have at least two Geez we will have issues… In the ApeChain community we have a saying ‘wapey, wapey.’ And it happens when somebody holds a lot of your collection and you piss them off, like me. I’m going to floor everything if you do not get one… wapey, wapey Barron!”
After admittedly “putting his foot in his mouth,” Baron took to Magic Eden, righted this wrong, and picked up Geez #5111, a seven-trait, tan-fur gorilla with robot eyes, a tie-dye shirt, and an unshaven pizza mouth!
“I just joined the @GeezOnApe squad,” Baron tweeted after his pickup. “How'd I do?”
Based on the likes, retweets, and comments, the Geez community thought Baron did great! They welcomed him with open arms, and one Geez even gave Baron his first nut.
“ApeChain on top poppy,” Geez holder Amp said. “Listen at the end of the day you kept your word Barron and I want to be the one to give you your first pair of nuts. Send me that wallet. Geez on top. You know that vibes! Lets get it.”
After IamPapito nutted him, The Alpha Degen Gee’d Baron up with a trippy fur laser-eyed Gee, so now Baron has the two Geez that Rida told he needed!
“I am absolutely blown away by the @GeezOnApecommunity,” Baron tweeted, “The legend @the_alpha_dgnjust sent me this stunning lazer eye @GeezOnApe which, holy fuck bro, thank you. And @iampapito_eth just sent me a pair of his nuts. Thank you for the warm welcome to the @GeezOnApe community. Guess I am going to have to rep super hard now that I have 2 Forever @GeezOnApe.”
