SOMETHING SPECIAL: Faraway Revealed That Dookey Dash Unclogged Will Have Special Stages Where Players Leave The Sewer!

Special Stages are probably nothing in Dookey Dash Unclogged as Farway Gaming Studios announced that players will be able to step out of the sewers and into a whole other game mode that’s anything but boring later this year!

On Thursday, Yuga Labs’ gaming partner Faraway took to Twitter for its fourth Dookey Dash Unclogged sneak peek and announced that the game will feature out-of-sewer experiences called ‘Special Stages’, where Dookey Dashers will be able to earn rewards and discover fun Easter eggs from builders around the swamp.

“Today we introduce Special Stages, a HUGE addition to the game,"Faraway tweeted. "Special Stages are game modes that take players out of the sewer race and drop them into a new type of game for extra rewards. Special Stages are the result of deep collaboration with some legendary figures in the space. Recognize that beat? You can thank @RedHat_MAYC for blessing us with sick tracks to include in the game. Another shoutout to @SuperfineOrg, @SquiddyNFT,  @caldie who worked with us in developing Special Stages.”

With today’s Special Stages announcement, Faraway has now given the community a closer look at this, its mini-events, its objective-based Arcade Mode, and its Star Journey task features as part of its week of sneak peeks.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Faraway Gaming Studios announced that they plan to launch Dookey Dash Unclogged by the end of the summer.

“Like the sewers, we are constantly running into shit that makes us realize we need to up our game for the normies,” Faraway wrote in a four-part tweet thread earlier this week. “We’ve added new game modes, new content, new prizes and that's us just warming up. Right now, it’s safer to say that we’re looking at a full-fledged release closer to the end of this summer. We know this is a bummer, but we promise you any delays are a direct result of our need to ensure this game sticks. Hard."

While the game is delayed, Yuga Labs’ CEO Garga reminded the BAYC and the broader Yugaverse that Dookey Dash is their chance to introduce a lot of new people to the club and that the ultimate goal is for this game to top all the charts.

“You only get one shot at a worldwide launch for a mobile game,” Garga tweeted yesterday. “So that first touch has to be really special and frictionless. We're hellbent on Dookey Dash getting on millions of phones and putting Yuga and BAYC into everyone's pocket. So while the game is live in a couple countries with reduced features for testing, there's a LOT of tuning and new features for Dookey Dash that we're working on with @farawaygg and @SuperfineOrg. All with the goal of making sure that the game is a blast not just for apes, but for people who've never touched crypto and know nothing about BAYC. So yeah, we need a little more time for worldwide launch. But we're putting a ton of muscle behind our goal: Be the #1 game on the app store.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Dookey Dash Unclogged and will keep you posted on Faraway Gaming Studios' sneak peeks. Stay tuned for updates!
