OG 2021 anime NFT project ONI Force announced a partnership with ApeCoin today and it sounds like it’ll be anything but boring, as ApeChain continues welcoming long-standing collections to the chain!

On Monday, ONI Force, a collection of 7,777 generative side-profile characters with over 100 hand-drawn traits fighting for their existence, teased that something is brewing between them and ApeCoin.

“Something big is coming,” the project tweeted. “ We’re proud to announce ONI Force is partnering with  @apecoin to create our most exciting Web3 activation yet! Behind-the-scenes updates and more details are on the way. Keep your eyes open. This is just the beginning!!”

Following the post, Apes and ONI holders took to the timeline to celebrate the move. “(Strong emoji) together,” ApeChain’s Won Kim tweeted after the news.

At this time, it’s unclear what exactly ONI Force and ApeCoin are working on. But what’s clear is that ApeChain has been busy building relationships with NFT projects from the 2021 and 2022 era.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeChain’s Banana Bill entered into a partnership with the Gutter Cat Gang back in November 2024. That deal will see the Gang’s $GANG token launch on ApeChain, bring the project’s GutterBets App to Ape, and get the 3,333 Cats to the Otherside.

In addition to formal partnerships like ONI and Gutter, formerly Ethereum-native NFT project Feline Fiendz migrated to ApeChain last month “for the vibes” and the move has already paid off with early success!

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow ONI Force’s partnership with ApeCoin and will let you know who apes into the ApeChain ecosystem next. Stay tuned for updates!
