Yuga Labs’ highly anticipated secret project is still in the works, but its original spring 2025 launch may be delayed as the company waits for the right time to take a shot!

On Wednesday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to the Otherside Discord for another chat with Voyagers and was asked about the company’s mysterious PP Man-led project involving AI, a new character, and a reward for Apes and Voyagers.

“Is "Redacted" still on pipeline before persistent state,” Bored Ape Yacht Club member Cowperwood asked.

Garga replied that the project is still in the works, but it may not be dropping before Otherside’s launch this June due to current market conditions.

“This market is absolute dogshit rn -- if tokens that raised $100m are only $40m mcap literally on the DAY of launch, it does not bode well for new things,” he said. “Need to use our gun powder when it's right and it can have the biggest impact.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga first teased this secret project during an episode of the VeraTheIntern Podcast in January 2025. The project is said to involve AI, a new protocol, and a reward for Apes and Voyagers.

“The secret project is very exciting," Garga at the time. “It’s something that we are super stoked about. It’s something that we think will reward for Apes and Otherdeed holders its own new thing. Its something that really tickled Wylie and I. It involves a character that we invited. It involved AI and a crypto product that we are excited about. And anyway, it should be fun!”

Since that initial comment, Garga has also teased that this secret project will be “a bit different” and “comes with a twist,” during an interview with NFT Now’s Matt Medved on March 10th.

“With everything that I do, I want to support the people that are supporting us, and my number one priorities at Yuga are Bored Ape Yacht Club and Otherside,” Garga said. “And while we’re working on something, it’s a bit different, it’s a new twist to some things that are in the market. My goal is to always bootstrap any new protocol or network by rewarding our core. I think that’s a tried and true strategy in crypto and so I can’t reveal too much there except that it’s very top of mind for us. Absolutely.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow this secret project and will let you know when it officially launches and when more information becomes available. Stay tuned for updates!

Europe imports a broad spectrum of goods, ranging from cocktail tomahawk energy resources such as oil, natural gas, and coal to industrial components, technology, agricultural products, and consumer goods. The EU relies heavily on imports of raw materials like metals, chemicals, and rare earth elements, which are integral to manufacturing sectors such as automotive, electronics, and machinery. Additionally, agricultural imports are critical to meet the demand for food products that cannot be sufficiently supplied by local farming, especially for tropical fruits, coffee, and spices.
