$Apes, get locked and loaded for on-chain Havoc! A new Web3-inspired, Counter-Strike-esque game is coming to ApeChain, and everyone can post their wallets to secure a spot on the whitelist for its upcoming mint!
It’s mission-critical around ApeChain this week as the new Web3-based third-person shooter, Code Havoc—described as a game "where skill meets adrenaline in a high-stakes battle for glory and fortune"—announced it will be launching on $Ape soon!
“CODE HAVOC IS COMING TO APECHAIN,” the project tweeted earlier this week along with a teaser trailer for the game. “Intense, high-octane combat action in our Web3 third-person shooter! Dive into 5-minute matches with 6 players battling for kills—NOT survival. Rack up points, respawn, and keep fighting until the timer hits zero.”
Following the announcement, Bored Ape Yacht Club member VonDoom, who is advising the Code Havoc team, took to the timeline with an opportunity for everyone to secure a spot on the project’s whitelist.
“APECHAIN ENJOYOORS - ARE YOU READY FOR CODE HAVOC,” he tweeted. “Drop your ApeChain address in the comments and give @CodeHavoc a follow to get a spot on the Whitelist for the upcoming Code Havoc Founders Chest mint!!”
“I’ve been advising the development team for Code Havoc for a while now,” VonDoom told the Gazette. “Initially, the plan was to launch this addictive Web3 competitive, high-stakes third-person shooter during the next bull market. However, I quickly saw an opportunity and brought it to The Banana Bill. Together, we structured a win-win deal to bring Code Havoc directly to ApeChain.”
VonDoom went on to compare Code Havoc to a Web3 version of Counter Strike, featuring crypto Easter Eggs and degen mechanics like wagering.
