Things were anything but boring on Saturday as the BAYC’s inaugural Dookey Dash: Unclogged tournament kicked off. The 295 Golden Plunger holders—who either earned their way in, got lucky, or purchased this bathroom-themed ticket on the secondary market—put on their hazmat suits and began a week-long journey of Dookey Dashing.

The rules for this week-long tournament are simple: dash as much as you can and aim for a top-tier score. One legendary run is all it takes to win it all. “OG DD1 rules,” Faraway Gaming Studios tweeted, alluding to the original Dookey Dash tournament back in 2023. “Run it back.”
These 295 players will be dodging cows, busting through walls, and collecting as much loot as possible as they try to achieve a top score and win the grand prize of at least $50,000 USD worth of $Ape! While there can only be one winner, the other 294 Dookey Dashers are guaranteed to win “Dookey Flips” valued at least $1,000 USD worth of $Ape.
Following this week’s Dookey Dash tournament, Yuga Labs and Faraway Gaming Studios will host a Tournament of Champions event on January 22nd. BAYC member TFG and the Swamp Gaming team will co-host the event.
