The ApeCoin ecosystem is raising a record breaking glass to Gin Ape after the Made By Apes brand set the Guinness World Record for the largest gin & tonic ever poured, with support from the DAO and their frens around the swamp!
As 20,000+ degens descended on the City of Lights for NFT Paris earlier this week, MBA brand Gin Ape crafted a cocktail for the record books during its ApeCoin DAO-funded world record attempt on February 13th, mixing up a massive 2,222-liter gin & tonic with the help of $Apes and Apes!
“When you’re in the preparation phase, everything seems easy and structured,” Gin Ape Founder Makash Mak told the Gazette after setting the record. “You start taking action, bringing the idea to life, and suddenly, everything gains color. The moment I received the Guinness World Record certificate – pure joy! I teared up from happiness, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have prepared this together with our community. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, this record-setting moment was made possible by the ApeCoin DAO community, which voted to allocate $204,850 USD and 10,000 $APE to the event!
