OTHERSIDE OPTION: Yuga Labs Will Host an Otherside Event Simultaneously With ApeFest Next Saturday!

From the LX Factory in Lisbon, Portugal, to the Swamp of Otherside, this year’s ApeFest 2024 is set to be bigger and boreder than ever after Yuga Labs announced it will host a simultaneous online event alongside its IRL experience next Saturday!

As primates party in Portugal during the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s fourth annual ApeFest, Yuga Labs will be opening its Otherside metaverse to BAYC members, Voyagers, and more from across the Yugaverse, inviting them to hang out with their online frens, hear Otherside updates from the Yuga Labs team, play some poker, and vibe.

 

“Voyagers, ApeFest in Otherside will take place on October 19th at 3PM ET,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside acocunt. “Come party with us in Otherside in The Swamp while the Full Moon Party is underway at ApeFest Lisbon. An ApeFest keynote speech will be streamed in The Swamp between 4-5 PM ET, which will include info on upcoming Otherside, ODK, and Project Dragon features. “

 

Can't make it to ApeFest? Come hang in Otherside,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted. “Will be streaming the ApeFest keynote into the world, and have a couple other fun social features we're demoing active.”

 

 

Following the announcement, Apes unable to attend ApeFest in person took to Twitter to applaud Yuga Labs for offering an online option.

“Can’t make it to Lisbon for ApeFest, but stoked there's The Otherside option,” BAYC member ApeWifHat.Eth tweeted. “Ready to dive in, party hat and all. This is what it’s all about!"

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, this ApeFest Otherside event will be taking the place of Yuga Labs’ regularly scheduled monthly Project Dragon events this October.

“Voyagers, Thanks for joining us and helping bring order to the mayhem that is Meetropolis. Next month, we’ll be hosting a virtual Otherside event during Apefest,” the company tweeted from its Othersidemeta account on September 27th. “We’ll see you Voyagers in the swamp in October. Project Dragon and any ensuing mayhem will resume in November.”
