ON THE BALLOT: This Bored Ape Yacht Club Member’s AIP Aims To Create 759 Pieces of $Ape Podcast Content And Create A Podcasting Ecosystem Based On The DAO!
Mic check! After a career in the podcasting space, this Bored Ape Yacht Club member has an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle to create an $Ape-centric podcasting ecosystem covering AIPs, MBAs, Mocas, and more!
AIP-492 titled “ApeCoin Gets a LOUDER Voice: The podcastization of the ApeCoin Ecosystem (Resubmission),” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Dany319.
“we’re talking about real podcasts, [like the ones we´ve been producing since 2005,” Dany319 wrote. “This means: it’s not about just giving mics to a couple of folks or recording Zoom calls. Real podcasts have a story, a script, a production, and they truly harness the power of voice. Since the dawn of time, humans have been wired to respond to voice when it comes with the right words, the right tone, and even the right musicality. Also, podcasts are notably less expensive to produce than video. We’re going to leverage all this to benefit the ApeCoin DAO—the entire ApeCoin ecosystem and all its members.”
In AIP-492, Dany319 and his team lay out their plan to create 759 pieces of podcast content over the next year, including 313 Spaces-style podcasts, 260 AIP podcasts, 52 MBA/Moca/Sandbox podcasts, 52 audio ads for MBA and Moca artists, a six-part Yuga documentary, and a six-part Animoca Brands documentary, among other projects.
To make this podcast ecosystem a reality, Dany319 is requesting that the DAO allocate $999,999.18 USD worth of $Ape. Take a look at the budget breakdown below:
The window to vote on AIP-492 is currently open, and ApeCoin DAO contributors have until Wednesday, September 18th, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.
