ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Wants To Make $Ape And Apes Great Again Through Web2 Social Media Campaigns!

This Bored Builder’s Ape Improvement Proposal aims to hire social media influencers to introduce Apes and $Ape to their Web2 followings on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, with the goal of making Apes cool again!

 

AIP-416 titled ‘ MAGA - Make Apes Great Again’ is an ecosystem fun allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Fuego.

“This proposal aims to promote Apes, Mutants, and ApeCoin to a Web2 audience of millions of Millennials and Gen Z consumers via extremely popular and influential social media personalities on Instagram, Tik Tok, and Youtuber,” Fuego wrote. “The goal is to create awareness within the normies and introduce them to the Bored Ape Yacht Club as the best club in the world despite not having a club or any yachts, and that ApeCoin is the future of finance that will lead to financial freedom despite not having any utility or real world use cases.”

 

To do this, Fuego is asking the ApeCoin DAO to allocate 69,420 $Ape towards making Apes Great Again. With the money, Fuego will launch a six-month social media campaign where he will hire social media personalities to make viral videos about $Ape and Apes. “We will allocate an average of 10,000-12,000 $APE per month, for approximately 6 consecutive months, until all the funds have been depleted,” he wrote.

Fuego will not be compensated if this proposal is passed.

While we do not know the outcome of these social media campaigns or how many people will be onboarded by this marketing push, we do know that Fuego, the founder of the Made by Apes vodka brand Twisted Ape, has pledged to give away 1,000 bottles of his vodka to voters on this AIP, regardless of whether they vote for or against it if it passes.

“The one benefit I can guarantee for sure is that 1000 community members will get to claim a free Twisted Ape Treasure Chest,” he wrote. “I have 1000 of these Treasure Chests in stock and ready to ship. They are currently priced at 69 $APE, but if this AIP is approved, I will make them a free claim to the first 1000 wallets that vote on this AIP, regardless of whether they vote yes or no.”

 

The window to vote on AIP-416 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, June 19th, to cast their coins and vote on this AIP.
