Luck by an $Ape Tonight! The ApeCoin DAO is heading to the polls this cycle to vote on an Ape Improvement Proposal that aims to create an on-chain lottery platform, where community members can risk a little to potentially win a lot!
AIP-511 titled “ApeMania: The rewarding playground for the Apes and ApeCoin Ecosystem,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO and Bored Ape Yacht Club member Neno.
“ApeMania is an innovative, on-chain gaming platform designed to bring a new level of excitement and earning potential to the ApeCoin ecosystem,” Neno wrote. “By combining the thrill of lottery-style games with the power of yield-generating ApeCoin staking, ApeMania offers users a unique opportunity to engage in entertaining, provably fair gameplay with low entry and have a chance to win lucrative rewards daily and weekly. The platform leverages VRF (Verifiable Random Function) for transparency and fairness, and staking pools with auto-compounding, ensuring that users achieve the highest possible yields. ApeMania is designed to enhance the utility of APE tokens, create value for BAYC/MAYC NFT holders, and contribute to the growth of the ApeChain ecosystem.”
ApeMania would feature games like dice, bingo, a wheel-spinning game called Rolling Apes, and a lottery-style game called Ape4D.
To build this GambleFi-style playground on ApeChain, Neno is requesting that the ApeCoin DAO allocate 250,000 USD to the project. With these funds, Neno plans to create, audit, market, and launch the platform. Neno estimates that ApeMania could be live and self-sustaining in 13 months, according to his proposal.
