ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Look Into The DAO's Marketing Going Forward

This Ape Improvement Proposal aims to explore the future marketing focus of the ApeCoin DAO.

AIP-259 titled “Language and Market Focus for ApeCoin DAO in 2024-2025” is a process proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor MisterHype.

“This proposal aims to establish clear decision-making processes within ApeCoin DAO to prioritize and focus our efforts on specific markets,” MisterHype wrote. “By identifying selected markets and aligning our actions accordingly, we can maximize our impact, promote inclusivity, and build a stronger presence in targeted regions or demographics.”

To determine what languages and markets the ApeCoin DAO should focus on, MisterHype proposed the creation of a steering committee that will look into the DAO’s marketing and create a study with the help of either an external consulting company or involving community members.

From there, the steering committee will analyze the findings and propose a final marketing AIP to the DAO in quarter 1 of 2024.

“The Language and Market Focus proposal for ApeCoin DAO in 2024-2025 aims to establish a binding decision that prioritizes market-focused efforts,” MisterHype wrote. “The proposal outlines a framework for selecting markets in which ApeCoin DAO will concentrate its resources and initiatives in 2024 and 2025. The primary objectives of this framework are to align with the overall goals of the DAO, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the effectiveness of initiatives within the chosen markets.”

In closing, MisterHype is not asking the DAO for any funding for his proposal.

The window to vote on AIP-259 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and $Apes will have until next Wednesday, July 5th, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.
