ON THE BALLOT: This AIP Aims To Get Bored Apes On Bottles Of Wine

There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this week that aims to get the community bored& Boozy!

AIP-119 titled “Commercialize Your NFTs On IRL Wine: WINE3 X BAYC Limited-Edition Wine Drop” is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor WineGuy.

“Wine3 invites the ApeCoin DAO to be a strategic launch partner for our inaugural wine release and we’d like $APE to be the exclusive currency accepted for the first 1,000 Wine3 NFTs,” WineGuy wrote in their proposal.

WineGuy went on to ask the ApeCoin DAO to allocate $60,000 USD worth of ApeCoin towards purchasing the first 100 Wine3 “Vint Pass” NFTs.

“Our first DROP consists of 1,000 VINT PASS NFTs that will be redeemable for a case (12 bottles) of one-of-a-kind, numbered wines that display a curated mix of 12 OG BAYC Apes on the labels (of which we pay royalties to the holders/licensors),” WineGuy wrote. “These VINT PASSES will be available to purchase with $APE only. This first 1,000 case collection will be 100% BAYC focused, with Apes on each and every label.”

Further in his proposal, WineGuy said that he and the Wine3 team would use 5% of the profits from the company’s first drop to throw a boozy bored banger in Los Angeles for $Ape holders.

The Window vote on AIP-119 opens tonight and $Ape holders will have until next Wednesday to cast their votes.
