ON THE BALLOT: Otherpage Wants To Transform Its NFT Social Media Platform Into An ApeChain Rewards Hub!

The Otherpage team has an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle that aims to transform their NFT-based social media platform from a place where holders can get to know their online frens into a social hub where builders can reward their community members and help bring the platform’s users over to ApeChain.

AIP-434 titled ‘Other Page: A Player Network & Rewards Hub for ApeChain’ is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO contributor and Otherpage Co-Founder Miker.

“The product expansion will provide ApeChain with critical incentive mechanisms to onboard new games and users into the ApeChain ecosystem through the use of 2D/3D avatars, community management tools, and ApeCoin rewards,” Miker wrote. “In addition, it will drastically reduce the friction of user on-boarding to the ecosystem.”

 

To make Otherapge ApeChain ready, Miker is asking the DAO to allocate 1.03 million towards building out Otherpage and an additional 100,000 $Ape that will be given to Otherpage users as rewards.

Funding AIP-434 Otherpage will be able to promote the usage of ApeCoin, facilitate ApeChain user onboarding, improve discovery, and facilitate achievements and reward distribution, according to Miker.

 

The window to vote on AIP-434 is currently open and ApeCoin DAO Contributors have until Wednesday, July 3rd, to cast their coins and vote on this proposal.
