OMGEEZ: Geez On Ape Holders Can Now Build With Their Apes’ 3D Files!
The Geez on Ape are taking over the timeline after the project made the 3D files for its 5,555 lovably dim-witted gorillas available yesterday!
Friday felt like Christmas morning for holders as Geez on Ape gifted the community with access to their primates' 3D files, inviting them to start building.
“GeeHub Update: 3D files in FBX and Blender formats are now available and can be downloaded from your GeeHub,” the project tweeted. “We’ve also added a Blender plugin that lets you create poses and render with ease. Check it out and start creating today.”
Following the announcement, Geez enthusiasts flooded the comments section to share their animated Apes and celebrate BAYC members and Geez founders Rida and Xeer for creating so much in just six weeks!
“Changing the game when it comes to User Generated content and Tools the help the everyday holder get creative,” BAYC member Big Cuz wrote. “Bravo @RidazLp2 x @Xeer!! @GeezOnApe is one of the new collections that I’m betting on.”
As many holders began experimenting with Blender, BAYC member and Improbable.io’s Creative Director brought his Geez into the company’s persistent virtual world, dubbed The Construct.
In Creative Director’s video, his G is seen exploring the metaverse, dancing like no one else is around, and soaring to new heights the boundaries of the metaverse!
“I love 3D files getting released for any NFT project, it allows for anyone to get creative with the assets they own, and make them as interoperable as they want,” Creative Director told the Gazette. “Rida's work and the Dashbo platform has been amazing and I've been silently watching it unfold. Not to be underestimated how much work it is to get so many files out (I speak out of experience) so I'm blown away that they got all these formats out so soon. And looks like they got a ton more coming!”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Geez on Ape and will keep you updated on what Rida and Xeer build next for their ApeChain project. Stay tuned!
