Notable Bored Ape Yacht Club Members PTM And Mus1tie Make A Trippy Trade

A trippy trade went down at the Bored Ape Yacht Club today between two notable collectors.

BAYC member PTM traded Bored Ape #7204 and 215 Eth ($688,000 USD) with BAYC member Mus1tie for a trippy fur primate.

“Grail acquired,”PTM.Eth tweeted after the trade. “Welcome to the team #23 Thanks @mus1tie for the trade! #NewNFTProfilePic NFT by @BoredApeYC.”

PTM’s new bored ape, Bored Ape #23 is a five-trait trippy fur primate with a beanie and a bored pipe mouth. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #23 is the 1074th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“It’s one of my absolute favorite apes in the whole yacht club,” PTM told the Bored Ape Gazette. “As soon as I saw the opportunity, I jumped on it.”

Making waves at the BAYC is nothing new to PTM, as the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the famed collector aped into three M3 mutant apes last year and also swept the MAYC floor last month.

As PTM picked up a grail in the trade, BAYC member Mus1tie picked up liquidity and secured his place in the BAYC going forward.

“I’m in BAYC since early May, started actively buying/selling and trading,” Mus1tie told the Bored Ape Gazette. “But never left. I do trading based on my current position: do I need liquid; do I keep things locked in nft etc. Always have real-life / nft / crypto healthy balancing. So I’m at position now need some liquid, not only I made profit from the early buy, I also did downgrade, which means I still remain in BAYC, ready for upcoming April land sale.”
