NOT BORED AT THE BEACH: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Is Working On An Ape Improvement Proposal While On Vacation!

Whether he’s at his office around the swamp or on the beach with his wife, there are no days off for Yuga Labs CEO Garga as he works to keep the Bored Ape Yacht Club the best club on the internet, push ApeChain to the top, and help make the interoperable metaverse a reality.

Things were anything but boring on Saturday as Garga took to the timeline to tease an Ape Improvement Proposal he's working on, while on vacation!

“Tried to take my first vacation in a very long time and wound up sitting on the beach thinking about a way to put BAYC and ApeCoin on top again, he said. “Now I'm writing an AIP and my wife wishes we brought our dog.”

 

At this time, we don’t know what Garga’s AIP will propose. But the fact that he’s writing one, as the CEO of Yuga Labs, is just more proof that we’re in a new era around the swamp, where ApeCoin and Yuga Labs are working together.

This shift comes a month after the Securities and Exchange Commission closed its investigation into Yuga Labs, and just one week after former Yuga Chief Legal Officer Cameron Kates became the new CEO of the Ape Foundation.

"To put it into context, we have come out of one administration that was seemingly hellbent on killing all crypto in the US to one that is encouraging crypto companies in the us to lead. I think that implies some big changes and opportunities,” Garga said on a Coffee With Captain space last week following the Kates news. “I think that implies some big changes and opportunities. for us we have been operating with one or both hands tied behind our backs. We shared the news that the SEC dropped its meritless case into us and we want to lean in and do a lot of different things that we were eager to do, and would have done years ago, if we didn’t have to ask permission and apologize every step of the way.”

 

As Garga works through his vacation, Apes took to the timeline to remind him to enjoy the beach!
