MYTH TO LEGEND: This Collector Made A Record-Breaking Purchase On ApeChain, Buying 1/1 FUKUApe for 12K $APE

Myth became legend on ApeChain yesterday after NFT collector Thor, aka SamuraiSpirit88, purchased the 1/1 Gold Myth FUKUApe for a record-setting amount!

Thor wasn’t FUKU’n around on Sunday when he made the largest NFT purchase on ApeChain to date, buying the 1/1 Gold Myth FUKUApe for 12,000 $Ape or $12,960 USD.

“Gold Myth! Now duly vaulted,” Thor tweeted after the acquisition. “With current NFT price record on @apecoin- apechain... @fukuapes @JRNYCLUB @JRNYGallery.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Gold Myth primate is one of only three one-of-one NFTs in the FUKUApe collection.

"I’m thrilled to have blasted through the record-breaking purchase on ApeChain," Thor told the Gazette. "Owning the Gold Myth 1/1, only one of 3 legendaries in the collection, and in my opinion the dopest one, was my goal from day 1 reveal. Ultimate exclusivity within a great community!"

Today’s record-setting purchase is nothing new for Thor, who has been stacking ApeChain NFTs since the chain’s launch last month. With this purchase, Thor now holds three FUKUApes, three Chimpdenzas, 12 MONKEES, 12 Bowlers, 12 ApePunks, 9 RILLAZ, 10 Paws and Claws, and 12 JIMMIES, according to his Magic Eden Showcase.

After the purchase, ApeCoin holders and Apes flooded the timeline with comments congratulating Thor on the record-setting purchase.
