MOVING MOUNTAINS: Voyagers Will Be Able To Change The Scenery And Layouts Of Their Otherdeeds! Find Out More:

Voyagers just learned that they will be able to move mountains—literally—and change the scenery of their Otherdeeds after one of the first Apes to build on the Otherside shared a boring new video showcasing the building process!

On Tuesday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Alpha Otherside Development Kit builder Tropical Virtual shared a two-minute video highlighting the customizability of an Otherdeed, revealing that everything from the sand to the mountains can be changed to make Voyagers' dreams a reality.

“Here's a glimpse of what its like to build with a Bone Deed Content Kit inside the ODK,” Tropical Virtual tweeted. “Love the freedom to build my environment as I please while utilizing tools from @Msquared_io to make my world come to life and have friends join in right away. Ready to see the @OthersideMeta Dashboard filled with worlds from Apes and communities across Web3. Built with ODK, powered by #ApeChain.”

 

In the video, Tropical Virtual is seen forging valleys, moving mountains, smoothing out the land, and customizing his Otherdeed exactly how he wants it.

 

After Tropical shared his video, Yuga Labs CEO Garga took to Twitter to confirm that Otherdeeds are customizable and that Yuga Labs plans to share all sorts of maps and templates with Voyagers once the Otherside becomes a reality.

“ODK = Otherside Development Kit,” he tweeted. If you played WarCraft III, think of it as the “use map settings” version of Otherside. Take this kit of parts and blueprints we make available and build and deploy a world of your choice. Way more flexibility on rules - you could make your own Project Dragon using templates we’ll make available from that project for example. On the other end of the spectrum is Otherside proper - with eventually always-on spaces like the ones you’ve visited at BAYC island, Meetropolis, the Nexus, etc, along with otherdeeds to visit.”

 

 

At this time, we don’t know when more builders will be able to experiment with the Otherside ODK, but we do know that everyone in the Yugaverse is invited to ape into Otherside for Yuga Labs’ second-ever Project Dragon event this Thursday at 6 P.M. EST.
