Moonpay Purchased Two Bored Apes Today. Who Will Join The Bored Ape Yacht Club Next?

Moonpay purchased two bored apes today, causing Bored Ape Yacht Club members to speculate on who will join the club next.

Moonpay, a financial technology company that builds payment infrastructure for crypto, purchased Bored Ape #6035 and Bored Ape #1638 for 80 and 90 Eth respectively Tuesday afternoon.

The first ape Moonpay purchased today was Bored Ape #6035 is a six-trait dark brown fur ape with a lumberjack shirt and a seaman’s hat. Shortly after picking up Bored Ape #6035, Moonpay then purchased Bored Ape #1638. Bored Ape #1638 is a six-trait cream fur ape with sunglasses and a beanie.

“Who could this be for?….,” Moonpay tweeted after purchasing Bored Ape #1638.

After the tweet, BAYC members began to speculate about which celebrity Moonpay will bring into the club next.

Many BAYC members speculated that Bored Ape #1638 could be for Justin Bieber or Justin Timberlake. “This has to be my guy @justinbieber,” BAYC member sk1337les tweeted.

While some think one of these apes could be for Timberlake or Bieber, others believe that Moonpay could onboard Pete Davidson, Kendrick Lamar, Seth Rogan, Ryan Gosling, Drake, among several other celebrities.

Moonpay has not given any clues regarding who’s joining the club. But considering who Moonpay has previously onboarded, it could be just about anyone.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Moonpay has onboarded Lil Baby, Post Malone, Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg, among several other high-profile members.

At the time of this article’s publication, Moonpay currently holds nine Bored Apes, one Mutant Ape and an M1& M2 serum.
